Paint Platinum Detailing

Paintwork deep cleansed, clayed and a full set of paint thickness readings taken. A three-stage machine polish using a combination of compound, medium and ultra-fine polishes. Paintwork wiped down using IPA to ensure coatings form a perfect bond with your car’s paintwork.

We say only recommended for high value cars with unloved paintwork. The amount of extra machine polishing required to remove deep scratches will surprise many. Please note the detailer may judge some scratches as too deep to be safely removed.

The Decontamination

Multi-stage washed & cleaned, mobile scissor lift up take off wheels deep cleaned arched
360° circle wheel rims & callipers cleaned remove brake dust (no acid used)
Clean shut door, boot, bonnet
High foam to paintwork wash to remove grime
Two bucket wash & grit guard system, using luxury microfibre wash matt & PH neutral shampoo
Dryer super microfibre towel, then blow dried
Clay bar remove embedded paintwork/glass
Remove tar glue spot, IPA wipe deep cleaned
Badges polished
Paint thickness reading taken
Remove all wheel use by scissor lift at detailer studio

The Polish

Using Rupes dual action machine stage three correct polisher using pad wool & fine medium and ultra-fine polishes (removal of oxidisation & heavy large swirl marks & light-medium scratches)
Rims wheel cleaned & polished after protection coat used
Door seal rubber treated
Engine bay dressing production
Exhausts and chrome polished
Tyre dressing
X rain repellent glass treatment
